Make Cage Comforters (padded blankets) for your local animal shelter. Cage Comforters are needed for cats and dogs for extra warmth and comfort. It’s an easy project for beginners. The comforters are sent with the pets when they move to a permanent home. Milwaukee County takes in about 13,000 animals per year—1,000 comforters a month! Your help is definitely needed.
