Blue hat.
Green brim.
Yellow polka dots.
Orange feathers sticking out of the top.
Ugly.
Haven't seen it.
It's on my head.
You all should get your eyes checked.
What do you say?
Are you ready to make our show today?
Hey, we're going to play create.
Here's what's on our show today.
We got puppets.
We have people.
We got places.
We have fun.
We have stories, we got news.
We got games.
We got you.
Hey, take it away.
Well.
Hello there.
My good friend Reilly.
And how are you today?
Hello.
Good.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Me?
Oh.
Hey, Ray.
I'm glad you came over.
Yeah.
Hey.
Well, friends, we're glad you're here.
You know, if you're wondering how are these answers coming in?
It's because people signed up at our show TODAY.com.
Yeah.
You got to play with your TV once you do.
And you can share your interes with us through the whole show.
It's pretty fun.
All right, so we're glad you're here.
We usually start the show of by asking a couple of questions about everybody, you know just to get to know one another.
Today we asked you, are you good at telling jokes and you going to tell jokes?
Well, yeah, I know the answer for you.
You just told a really good one that wasn't good.
Yes.
I wasn't going to necessarily point it out, but it is a hit there on that.
Okay.
That's okay.
You didn't have to point it out because you just made it so obvious to us.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
All right.
Well, the other question we asked everybody today was, do you prefer eating fruits or vegetables?
Do you have a preference?
Right.
Let's say fruit from Epping I'm going to go fruit two.
Yeah.
You know there's I have favorites of each.
But honestly if I were to tally them both up I think I have more favorite fruits and vegetables.
Yeah.
Let's see what our friend said.
I'm here to find out.
I am too.
So here we go.
This is our viewers today.
Fun fact we asked you.
We got the tally and here are the results.
Dun dun dun.
62% of viewers who say that they're good at telling jokes prefer fruits over vegetables.
Wow.
Really fascinating.
Just never know.
Well, yes.
So now that we know that about one another, I know this is going to be a great show.
Let's play a game.
Okay.
All right.
What's in a name?
Okay.
So the name today is Jasper McGillicutty.
So we got to look at those letters and the challenges to see if you can come up with words based on the letters we see there.
They don't have to be in the same order.
No.
Let's see, I c g. What letters could go along with J to make a word j?
I. I'm just brainstorming here.
That's what you're doing too, right?
Looking at the letters an thinking, oh, there's the asp.
Oh, Jill Mouse found the word Jill.
Where's the new?
Oh, l read Alfred, says Penny.
Nice.
Oh, jam.
I love a little peanut butter and jam.
Oh, J. Yeah.
I was trying to think of a word that started with J. Purple line says Kenley.
Oh, I love my favorite cuddly teddy bear.
And we can name it Ruby.
Nice.
Teal, dear.
Cusp.
We're on the cusp of something.
Never been done before.
Pink elephant is says.
Yeah.
If you have a little potato spoon car for flying.
How did we not find came to now.
That's a that's a logical word to think of.
Ladder.
Yep.
Thanks for the fruit, man.
So many words.
Raspy.
Whoa.
Sometimes they sing a song and it's a little raspy.
We it from, says Katy.
Do you play golf?
Paper read.
Cats.
Got paper.
Paper drill.
Well, if you had the letter R to the word deal, put it after the D you get drill.
Here's the drill.
We're playing the name game.
Gil fish have Gil.
Wait.
We can make a poem out of Gil drew.
It'll be happy with sad, but stands a great word.
Greg.
Cat.
Oh, man.
I can't even keep up with you all.
You're so fast at.
This was her man.
Well, I really enjoyed playing this game.
And this is a game that you could also play.
Cuddles.
Yeah, it's another one, pal.
You could just write down a name, write down a word and see what words you find.
Spider.
Okay, let's see what's happening with Jim and Sparky.
Hi, friends.
Scribble Jim with my Sparky here.
We're going to try something we haven't tried before, which is we are going to have Sparky send a mental vibe through the wires to you, and you are going to guess what Sparky is thinking of.
Now, we haven't tested it yet.
We think it's going to work, but right now we want you to tell us what is Sparky thinking of?
We're going to give yo some clues that might help too, but they really don't make any sense at all, so you don't have to pa too much attention to the clues.
But here we go.
Are you ready?
We're going to try this out.
You good?
All right.
You're sending out th mental vibe right now, though.
Okay, here we go.
If you could see.
You might know what it is.
If you could taste it, you might know what it is.
And you can squeeze it.
You might know what it is, but you can't.
So you're gonna have to guess.
What is Sparky thinking of?
Oh, red cats is pudding.
Is is it pudding?
Oh, you did it.
Good job, red cat.
All right.
That was good.
First round.
Her we go.
We're gonna try it again.
All right.
Concentrate.
Here we go.
If you could hear it, you might know what it is.
If you could smell it, you might know what it is.
And you can do it.
You might know what it is, but you can't.
So you gonna have to guess.
What is Sparky thinking of?
Black rabbit says frogs.
It is frogs.
We're doing so good at this, friends.
Nice job.
All right, everybody, concentrate.
Are you ready?
Here we go.
If you could hold it, you might know what it is.
You can move it.
You might know what it is.
If you had sold it, you migh know what it is, but you can't.
So you gonna have to guess.
What is Sparky thinking of?
Like Penguin says, pineapple.
It is pineapple.
I was afraid to go on because we're doing so good.
Okay, we're gonna try one more.
Here we go.
If you could shake it, you might know what it is.
Bake it.
You might know what it is.
If you take it.
You might know what it is, but you can't.
So you're gonna have to guess.
What is Sparky thinking of now?
Pink dolphin says carrots.
It is.
Do we have one more in us?
All right, one more.
This is a concentrate.
Here we go.
If you could wear it, you might know what it is.
And you share it.
You might know what it is.
You can tear it.
You might know what it is, but you can't.
So you gonna have to guess.
All right.
Make this one hard, Sparky.
Concentrate.
What is Sparky thinking of?
Purple line says tacos.
It is tacos.
Good job friends.
That's amazing Sparky.
Nice job.
Friends at home.
Nice job.
Wow.
I wasn't sure this was gonna work.
I'm so excited.
That was great.
Great job everybody.
We'll see you next time.
You're my neighbor.
Two doors down.
Right on to come around hybrids.
I'm here with my friend Danielle, who likes to do something with Clay.
Right?
Yes.
I use cla to make lots of pottery stuff.
What's clay?
It's almost like dirt but instead it's stick together.
First you have to make it super strong.
Otherwise, I'll fling away.
Do you see this petal over here?
Yeah.
This petal is used to make it go see.
Oh, wow.
That's fast.
So first we take lots of water and pour it on the clay.
But not too many.
Okay.
You're in charge of it.
You're in charge of it.
Are you telling me what to do?
Right?
But am I got some of my bracelet?
Oh, it's all right.
Okay so next we put this son in real.
And now we have to large in it.
Oh, you're making a hole in the middle.
Yes, I'm making a pot.
You make a pot?
Like this.
You use any tools in your bills?
Tools?
Oh, yes.
What are you gonna do?
Oh, wow.
So so so from the clay that is soft.
You just let it air dry, you dry.
And that's why it's kind of hard.
So would you break if I if I, if I touch it really hard.
If you throw it, it could break.
Oh of course.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Number two this is when it's cooked.
Cooked.
So what does that mean?
Where do you cook it.
Do you see over there by those two things.
Oh yeah.
Yeah I see those, those make them cook these glazes.
So there are nice and like a glass kilns I want the name of the oven is.
Oh.
Oh so over here they're already cooked and they're hard.
Wow.
Number three.
This is the painting part.
Wow.
After you cook them you paint them.
This part of glass is made with paint.
So.
So this inside this is what the inside looks like.
Yeah.
And this is what the outside looks like.
Wow.
That's pretty.
And then did not make this too.
I made this one.
Wow.
This looks it looks like a it's a gravy pot.
Whoa.
It's a gravy pot.
I love it at first.
I want it to be like a pot, but then it got tipped over, and then I said, wow, it looks like a gravy pot.
So it is.
So now this is all that one is all done.
Wow.
So just starting with dirt and clay, you can make all these work.
And then you have this an you can use it in the kitchen.
I would love to use it in the party with you.
But wait.
There's no grieving tea parties.
Or maybe we can put some apple juice.
Oh, I put you said.
Sounds great.
Thank you.
Danielle, for showing me your hobby.
I love it.
Oh, that was awesome.
Hey, thank you for Lucy.
I'm so glad that you went to visit Danielle and Daniel.
Thank you for sharing with us.
That was awesome.
I have inspired I want to try.
I want to try that.
Right.
Yeah.
We'll books really fun right now.
Spins around and around and around it just mind is flew away.
Yeah.
Maybe we can go over there for a tea party later.
That would be a lot of fun.
Yeah, let's do it.
All right.
I hate friends right now.
We got a game.
This one's one of my favorites.
It's called Willie Flout.
All right, here's how you play the game.
We come up with something, and then we go, do you think it's going to float?
And then we try it out.
So today we want to know, do you think a slice of Swiss cheese will float in water?
Yeah.
Even though there's holes in it, I'm pretty sure the molecule or makeup of the DNA of the cheese, when it's cultivated long enoug that the density is much higher than the density of the water combined with the air pressure.
Pretty sure it's going to float.
You know what I was thinkin something along the same lines, but mine was a little simpler.
Mine was, they say that like the cream floats, the top right cream of the crop cream falls to the top.
And so I thought, well, yeah, it's dairy.
Maybe it'll float.
But then like I thought oh, there's holes in it though.
So is it kind of float.
Yeah.
It's irrelevant right.
Well let's find out.
Let's we see what our friends said.
Let's see what their guess is.
Why.
Okay.
All right.
So.
Oh it's split right now.
5050.
That's remarkable.
Well, you know I know it.
Oh wait, wait.
Somebody saying no.
But you know what though?
But I think it's I, I'm not that surprised.
I think it's, it's not that remarkable because we were split kind of.
Right.
Yeah.
All right, well, let's find out.
Let's roll the tape.
This is going to be exciting, dude.
Do it.
My theory, my calculations.
Yes.
Something went awry tha definitely sunk to the bottom.
You couldn't even see it at the end there.
No.
Wow.
The bottom.
Well, that was fun.
Yeah, that was fun because I was curious.
Right no we know if somebody says, hey, do you think that Swiss cheese afloat because there comes up probably, what, at least three times a week you can say no cheese floating.
Why don't you watch our show today?
Yeah.
You're going to do some more research.
I better get to the library and study up some more, because I think I missed calculated the DNA of the.
Well, I should probably figure this out later.
I just got a chalkboar or something.
Maybe we could do.
We could do some calculations on a chalkboard.
But right now, it's time for our friends.
Parks ice junior Betty.
They're going to show us how to make something.
It's time for making it nice.
Step on up.
Get your lemonade and lemon pops.
We've opened our own business selling lemonade.
Yeah, it was my idea.
Well, it was your idea to give it all away.
That's how you go out of business.
Oh, yeah.
That's why I need you as a partner.
First, we made this really cool lemonade stand.
Or just a table.
And a sign will do.
Then we made lemonade.
There are only three ingredients.
You'll need about four large lemons and a cup of sugar for two quarts of water.
Yep, yep.
Or you could just use that lemonade mix stuff.
You'll probably need help from a grown up.
Yeah, well but then we poured some lemonade into an ice cube tray to make them and pops.
Cover the tray with plastic wrap, and then poke toothpicks or popsicle sticks in the tub and put them in the freezer overnight.
Oh, man.
Woo!
We need more lemonade and lemon.
But.
What?
We haven't even opened yet.
All this dogging made me parched.
Do you like lemonade?
I love it.
I know you do.
000.
Hey, what would you call your lemonade stand?
Yeah.
Pork slice.
Lemon pops.
That's got a nice ring to it if you want to use that name.
Okay, okay.
I think it's nice.
Did you get a haircut?
Yes.
Thank you for noticing.
Yeah, yeah.
It was nice little pops.
That sounds pretty good.
I could go for one of those right now.
A lemon pop?
That sounds really good.
Yeah.
Hey, knock knock knock.
Who's there?
It's still me.
Rover.
You are going to tell her jokes.
We asked our friends, what would you name your lemonade stand?
And here's what you had to say.
Oh, okay.
Black rabbit said free lemonade for all.
Whoa.
You'd get a lot of business with that name.
Well, this is a be that was inspired by Porchlight.
Yeah.
Red elephant said Larry's lemons.
That works good.
Larry's lemons.
Larry.
Oh, but you don't have named Larry.
Easy squeezy.
Lemonade.
Let's get lemonade.
I gotta, I gotta go for you.
Lemonade Pink dolphin says Captain Tardy.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Very tart.
Cookie.
Oh, dear.
Says cool citrus.
Yeah, I bet that would be like a high end lemonade one.
Oh, citrus high end lemonade for the very sophisticated lemonade drinker.
Now, do you think that would be the honorary lemonade or the music?
Yeah.
Definitely.
No.
You know, it might be one of thos where it's like bait and switch.
They have, like, all the fresh lemons in the front, but they're really in the back using the mix.
Oh, no.
Yeah, that's the worst.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, hey, you know what?
It's time for another game.
This one seems kind of spooky, but it's not that spooky.
It's called.
What is it?
Maybe it's my delivery that makes it seem spooky.
If I just said.
What is it?
Not as spooky.
Okay, well, here's the thing.
It can fit in a can, but what is it?
We don't know.
That's up to you.
So you need to share your ideas and maybe we'll find out what it is.
Okay, so we got to figure this out.
Yep.
We've got some peas and mouse peas in a can.
That would be pretty cool.
Oh, and a mouse, mouse and a can.
I think the mouse would make it well, sometimes.
Right.
Yes I do.
I love it in a can.
I like that lemonade macan.
That's awesome.
Okay, well, friends, if you see an answer and you really like it, you can type it again.
And then the more people who type that word in, the bigger it gets.
And then that's how we know what it is.
So good seeds noodles.
Yeah.
I do think maybe based on today's show, the answer might be loaded.
It could be.
Don't know for sure.
Don't want a soup that's coming to canned.
Many varieties of soup.
And it can too.
You can usually find one that you really like.
So there's no clear winner.
No clue.
No clear winner.
So right now, I think we're gonna have to start narrowing it down.
If you see when you really, really like beans.
Beans?
Yeah.
Beans are good.
Can.
Soup.
There's so much soup.
I like the bees.
I can see we never should we narrow down.
And only that.
People choose what they see on the screen.
Please.
Peace is winning.
Beans.
Bees.
Did anything.
Hey, Rover.
Yes.
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Beans.
Beans.
We've been in the kitchen.
Yeah, but beans, my friend.
No, no, no.
Wasn't the bee's in the can?
It was the beans in a can I make the beans sound effect?
Hey, that's pretty good.
All right.
We have a clear winner.
It was beans.
Thanks for playing with us, friends.
You helped us discover.
What is it?
Oh.
It's true.
Choose already.
You always get this.
I feel like I don't even need to try.
That's a statement I don't, I don't know.
I think you have like, a 99% record on this one.
I think if we go back and check the data, we would see the contrary.
Our friends, right now, you need to pick a door.
Door number one, doo number two at door number three.
And that's how we know where we're going next.
Because it's up to you to choose.
We don't even know what's coming next.
So I'm going to choose door number four.
There is no format.
It's over to the side.
It's very small.
It's in the back of the room.
I'm gonna go with one number three today.
Let's see how we do.
Three.
I think it's four.
All right, well, here's the answer.
This is what everybody voted for.
Two.
Yeah.
I feel like you had.
Was it color?
Is it.
Okay, well, here's how we play this game.
We come up with something and then we ask you, what color do you think it is?
It's usually pretty tricky, though.
Sometimes it's not the first thing you think of.
I think that that's Sam who does that.
I think Sam is sometimes trying to go, let's make it a little trickier.
You know how it is.
Okay, so a pair of scissors.
What color is it?
Okay, concentrate.
We should have had Sparky doing this one.
He could send you the answer telepathically.
Yeah.
All right, so right now, I want you to think.
Pair of scissors.
What color is it?
Let's go to the board once we voted.
Okay, look at that.
Lots of people are thinking green today.
Yeah, I have some teal some brown and some blue, too.
All right, well, let's let's do the reveal.
Let's find out who was right.
Sparky must have been sending out the telepathic vote because it was green.
Good job friends, and good job, Sparky.
Yeah, you guys make a really good team.
I'll say.
All right.
Well, hey, it's time for a joke.
Another one?
Another one.
Not for me.
Who is that for?
The man who?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Banana.
Nana.
Who?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
I'm here now.
Knock, knock.
This banana.
No.
Knock, knock.
Who's that banana?
No.
Knock, knock.
I was there.
Orange.
Orange orange.
Who?
Weren' you glad you didn't say banana?
Yeah.
Super glad you did say banana.
I thought we were stuck in a time loop or something.
I think you taught that joke to him.
I think that' one of your students, isn't it?
I love that one.
So that might be my favorite joke ever.
Yeah, that was a nice job.
Thanks for sharing that with us.
Fine.
Okay.
Hey, it's time to play.
Find it fast.
Oh, this is fast.
We gotta fast.
We put time on the clock.
Here's what we need you to find really, really fast.
Becaus we're going to run out of time.
Oh, no.
Find somethin that starts with the letter L. Find something crunchy and find something that's bigger than you.
Okay.
Oh, crunchy.
Bigger than you.
Have you got it?
Yeah, I've got the first one ready.
Do you see it?
It's right here.
It's right here in my hand.
Do you see it?
Why does it.
Is it simply.
It starts with L. Is it went?
Little, little, little.
Very little, little bit of fuzz.
Little fun.
Can I use adjectives in this game?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
You got something crunchy, something bigger than you.
No, no, that's as far as then, captain.
All right, hold that.
I'm gonna look.
Okay.
I'll be on the lookout for m friends to see what they found.
Cute mouse found 11 peanut butter house.
Oh, yeah.
I love crunchy peanut butter lava cereal and dancing blue shark.
What you got?
I found my library card.
Good.
My hand.
There we go.
Nice.
Black light.
Oh, no.
Black light.
I skipped the word bat.
Black.
Big black bat.
This is a tongue twister.
That bad?
Says light cereal in the door.
So it's bigger.
Light starts with serious crunchy.
Yeah.
Till dear.
Lime peanut butter couch.
What you got?
I got tape measure.
It's bigger than me.
Whoa, wait.
That got bigger than you.
It is taller.
I gues if you stretch the length open.
Says lemon apple and gazebo girl.
The boom gossip.
Boom.
Boom boom boom boom boom boom.
That's your friends.
We're gonna run out of time, though.
It was so much fun.
