Gretchen Mack of Dubois, has worked to honor the memory of her son, Chance Phelps.

Chance Phelps was a young Marine from Wyoming who served with distinction in Iraq and died in action in 2004. His mother, Gretchen Mack of Dubois, has worked to honor his memory. Wyoming Chronicle recently visited the Absaroka Ranch where several military veterans and their families from across the nation experienced a "Warrior Week" of activities including horseback riding, fishing, and hiking.
